Hello Softball and Baseball Commissioners/Coaches,
The SPLL Snack Bars will be open and ready for business! New menus, and every stand now has nachos and chili warmers for nachos or chili burgers and chili dogs. Yum!
Quick recap on snack bar etiquette:
- The snack bars MUST be opened during EVERY game.
- There are opening and closing instructions in each stand to help clarify the process.
- Every team, at some point, will have to provide snack bar volunteers.
- The first game of the day will be responsible for opening the snack bar.
- The last game of the day will be responsible for closing down and cleaning the snack bar.
At Orange Grove: (If the teams are both SPLL) 1st base side team will run the snack stand; 3rd base side will take care of the field. If SPLL is hosting a different LL or team, the SPLL team will run the snack stand and take care of the field.
At Nelson Field: 1st base side will run the snack stand; 3rd base side will take care of the field.
At Burke Field: 3rd base side will run the snack stand; 1st base side will take care of the field.
Remember, the proceeds of the snack stands help to keep our registration costs from rising. It is important that each team takes this seriously.
PS: Please do not purchase items on your own to sell in the snack stands. If something is running low please notify one of the snack stand coordinators listed below:
